Tai-Ler Jones committed to ND today. Very nice catch at WR for the Irish. Looks like he will fill in nicely for Tate. :D

Pretty suprising to me, he seemed like a very solid Stanford commit. He even said so about a week ago, that while he was going to USC/ND that he was 100% solid on Stanford.

How can you stand spending 4 yrs. in Palo Alto, when you can choose being in South Bend instead? Beats me! :D

    Hey Gipper,

I know that you were joking... I have lived in Sunnyvale which is just a mile or two south of Palo Alto on the 101. There are two things that would keep me from living there: 1) The Democrats and 2) The cost of living. IF I could sell my house in Round Rock, Texas with the economy the way it is, I could afford to replace it with a pup tent on someone else's lawn in Palo Alto.

I despise the heat in Texas from June to September and to a lesser extent, the Tennessee summers. I don't think I would care for the extreme cold of the winters in South Bend. The weather is so nice in Sunnyvale that the apartment I had from July 1994 to April 1995 didn't even have an air conditioner. I was very comfortable.

Move the Texas government and cost of living to California and I would be there in a heartbeat!

    Tim,

I see that Dietrich Riley enjoyed his offical visit to ND so much that he is going to come back with his mother on his own dime.
His only other offical so far has been to Tenn, so it sounds like we've jumped ahead of the Vols.

They dress so nicely that they wear a cap on their tooth.
