Hey, since it isn't USC the NCAA might jump right on this. Then again, maybe not. I think it just depends on how they feel this week? :?

Wow that would be really something if they took away KU's championship. I wonder what would happen, would it just be voided? I remember way back when Villanova had to forfeit NCAA games for playing Howard Porter who was later determined to be ineligible, but they didn't win the title. They did have to give back the money as well.

There seems to be a fairness queston presented here. I can see where the high school would have to forfeit games if he was not eligible, after all, there were the ones who changed his grades. But the college relies on the high school grades. Seems a little unfair punishing the university for what the high school did. Just what would that accomplish? Force every college to review every test grade received by a recruit just to make sure the grade given is the correct one? Come to think of it, they wante ND to somehow inquire into the source of income of the player's girlfriend.

The NCAA Clearinghouse did pass him so it would seem that KU did everything prudent to establish his eligibilty.

I'm with Gipper and Terry, I don't see how KU can be affected by this. They didn't do anything wrong, that we know at least, and the Clearinghouse cleared him.

    Sad though.

There is no way Kansas can be penalized on this one.
