Terry, I know you're beng sarcastic and rightfully so. There has been too much noise made over this rookie. As a Cubs fan, I view him as I view any other rookie coming up to the parent club.....Let's see how he does in the big show. Spring training is just that. It's not a stage for the next super star. It's when the big league pitchers warm up for the real season. If he can translate to the show what he did in spring training, hooray for the Cubs. If not.....next man up.

Be careful, Joel. Your early season bravado may come back to bite you in the you-know-what.

So I'm watching the Sox-Tigers game on MLB Network and they actually cut away from the game twice to watch the clown strike out. Ya gotta be kidding me!

AJ is right. There are several phenoms out there in Chicago, Boston and even right here in LA. Everybody can't be going to the HOF in April. Let's see where these fabulous rookies are in August/September. It's a looooong season...

You mean I may have wasted my first round Fantasy Baseball draft on Bryant?

    :)

    Just kidding.

However our first pick was a phenom from a couple of years ago, Nolan Arenado 3B of Colorado.

    Meanwhile...

Some established stars are doing well around here. Adrian Gonzalez has been getting two hits and two RBI's per game in 9 or ten games in-a-row to start the season. He's the first Dodger to do that since Jackie Robinson in 1952...

Over in Anaheim, Mike Trout has now hit 101 HRs in his career. At age 23, He's the youngest player EVER to have both 100HRs and !00 stolen bases...

I see that the Yankee's and ARod will likely be at odds over him gettting a 6M bonus for tying Willie May's at 660 HR's.

I didn't realize that ARod still has 3 years to go on his contract and the Yankee's owe him 64M for those 3 years. Wow.

BTW as well as he's playing now you have to wonder why he thought he needed all those pills.
