Apparnently the Skybox is not a hotbed of interest in Michael Jackson. I think we're all the wrong age for him.

It'll be all Michael Jackson for the next 48-72 hours on TV, no doubt there will be specials on every network. I was told MTV has gone all Jackson 24/7 for now.

No doubt he had great talent and influence. I liked his Thriller Album, I never could moon walk. I actually went to a Halloween Party back in '83 as Michael Jackon, Afro-wig, white socks, 1 glove and all... I'd say black face makeup but it was more off white! :)

Very sad and tragic life for one of our generations most gifted performers.....say what you will about him, he was an extraordinary performer whose impact should not be underestimated......MTV became MTV because of Jackson. Remember the ratings when he released the Thriller video and MTV replayed it every hour on the hour....few individual artists in our lifetime have ever had such an impact.

I was of big fan of his gifts as an artist and entertainer....I'm actually quite saddened as I watch the coverage. I will always say that his live TV performance on the 25th anniversary of Motown special was singularly the most extraordinary individual performance I've ever seen.....absolute brilliant. Very sad.....

Arguably one of the Top 3 entertainers of all time, along with Elvis and Frank. I find much of his life tragic and lay much of the blame on his parents, particularly his father.

    his gift was entertainment.

his curse was entertaining little boys.

There's a lot of talented people with vices that I am willing to overlook... his, not so much.

If you here something that sounds like thunder above, don't worry about it. It's just Elvis kickin' Michael's ass for being with his daughter....
