I have a tv set up where I have been using my treadmill and can access Netflix. I started watching Ken Burns Baseball and just finished. It was a long time doing it that way but it gave me something to look forward to each time I got on. Anyway it covered Baseball from it's origins to 2004. All the old guys up until they started taking firm actions in the steroid era. 11 episodes all a little over two hours long. All I can say is that it was fascinating and I learned a lot and it brought back memories. Jif should watch the last one if nothing else, it covered the Red Sox miraculous run to the World Series after being down 3-0 in the series against the Yankees and having given up 19 runs in the previous game. Well worth the time if you don't try to do it all at once.
I love that Ken Burns series. My favorite episode was about John McGraw and how he started a riot in New York that burned down a large segment of the town...
I'm being careful Terry. I am also hopeful that the treadmill along with some other exercises will keep me from having to have a hip replacement.
