Is everybody going to plan on staying in or near the same place?...if so, where?

Are the hotels near the stadium pretty expensive and already booked during home weekends?

I'd hate to be at one end of town while everybody else is at another end.

Actually I asked some people where to stay and didn't really get any good answers. The ballpark isn't exactly in hotel circle from what I can gather.

I'm looking at the Sheraton Kansas City Sports Complex Hotel, the Drury Inn and Suites Stadium and the Holiday Inn Kansas City Sports Complex.

Haven't made a decision yet though. But all of those are very close to the Sports Complex.

I'll have to ask the G-Man if he still has connections with that fine hotel chain that he booked us into for the Texas/Ohio State game!

The Stadium is really well located to travel to and from about anywhere in Kansas City. It's located at the intersection of two interstates, one of them being I-70 coming in from St. Louis.

It is on the East Side of downtown if that helps any.
