...... said the Gators to no one in particular.

At least UF has been in the media this week.... talked about quite a bit as representing the SEC East in Atlanta and plus I have another game to watch tomorrow.

It may be the ass kicking I have envisioned but I guess it's better than staying home.

I heard a discussion about the Sugar Bowl as being between Auburn and UF. I does seem like an bad year for the Sugar Bowl. If UF gets hammered by 'Bama and still gets to go to the Sugar Bowl with 4 losses, Auburn the same. I remember the outrage when the Irish went to the Fiesta Bowl with 4 losses.

But that's what all these contracts with conferences do to the bowls.

Auburn will be ahead of UF in the CFB playoff ratings once we get trounced in Atlanta and that will give the Sugar Bowl to the Tigers and the Outback to Florida.

Personally I much prefer the Outback for the Gators vs. a beatable opponent instead of going to get their clock cleaned over in New Orleans.
Plus I get to attend the game as I live 30 minutes from the Ray Jay.

Last year's Citrus Bowl debacle left a very bad taste in the mouth and I want no part of seeing UF finish up that way again and if Bama runs roughshod over us like I think they will then we are on the same path to another piss poor finish if we played in New Orleans vs. an Oklahoma etc.
