Great Game by Manning, totally dominated the Patriots! He's the clear league MVP this year.

I guess the Patriots left all their running backs at home!

    Tom,

If you're wanting a game, you probably need to watch the NFC matchup.

How did that joker get admitted to Stanford? He's a great athlete but definitely has a few screws loose. A real wack job.

I was sort of hoping that Erin Andrews would punch him or something...was an A-Hole.

    Couple of questions:

    1. Do you think the NFL will look at the hit by Welker on Talib and if so will they fine him. Belichick thinks it was deliberate with the intent to injure Talib, called it one of the worst plays that he's seen.

    2. The non-call on the strip/fumble recovery by that 49ner LB who was also severely injured on the play. Do you think that should be a reviewable call? From what I gathered Harbaugh couldn't have challenged it either. I thought it justice though that the Seahawks fumbled on the very next play so San Francisio ended up with the ball anyway. But it would have been an huge injustice if the Seahawks would have scored.

    3. Did Russel Wilson make the case for Johnny Manziel yesterday. Manziel has 2 things that make people wonder about him, one is his height, but he's taller than Wilson and 2 is that scrambling going to get him killed, but Wilson made some big plays off of those scrambles. I didn't want the Texans to draft Manziel, but now I do.

We had a lot going on at my place yesterday. Did they give a reason as to why that play could not be reviewed? That was one hell of a play by the LB, I have no idea how they missed it on the field.

In real time, I thought it was just a fumble. Replay showed, as I'm sure you know, it was one hell of a strip and hold despite being hurt badly.

Richard Sherman finally gets off his rant and comes back to being a regular guy instead of a jerk.

    Sherman

OK maybe not a regular guy but comes across a little different and more intelligent.

Has he ever lived in India?.....nothing about "N" in this definition

    Thug
    noun.

    1. A cutthroat or ruffian; a hoodlum.
    2. also Thug One of a band of professional assassins formerly active in northern India who worshiped Kali and offered their victims to her.

Word History Thug was the name given by the British in India in the 19th century to a member of a band of thieves and murderers. A thug would pretend to be friendly with a traveler and offer to share a journey. Then as soon as it was safe to do so, the thug would strangle and rob his companion. The word thug comes from thag, a word in the Indian language Hindi meaning one of these robbers. The Hindi word in turn came from sthagati, a word in the ancient Indian language Sanskrit meaning "he covers up, he hides." Since thugs made travel dangerous, the British government rounded up most of them, and in a few years they were no longer a threat. The word thug, however, has lasted till today and even taken on the broader meaning of "ruffian."

He's a bright guy. For you who grew up watching wrestling, he's playing the heel. It's an act.

You can love him, or hate him, but they're still talking about him and he's laughing all the way to the bank.

I don't mind Sherman at all. He clowns everyone, and what he did to Skip Bayless should put him on your favorites list. He's hyper competitive and he's one of those guys who will beat you at your game with your rules while laughing at you the whole time.

Time will catch up to him, and I'm fairly certain he's smart enough to have a plan for that as well.

What I find hilarious is, when talking NFL football, the league has so many guys with sex scandals, serious criminal charges, small islands of children wondering where their daddy went, and just downright bad dudes.

Read up on him. He's not a bad dude at all. He's just playing one on television.
