I don't think that Texas should be playing for the NC. Having watched the two teams that beat Fla. and Tex. it's clear to me that Fla. lost to a superior team. I have NEVER seen a team tackle worse than Tech. I swear Richard Simmons could hit harder than those poor excuses for defenders.
But the one individual on the TT team that probably screwed up the most was the equipment guy. The shoes that they were wearing weren't appropriate for the surface that they were playing on. Either that or the Tech receivers are so unsteady on their feet that they need training legs to stay up.
Kudos to Nutt and his fired up group of kids who showed up and played hard.

How big is your farm? I still stand by my original post. After their last 2 BCS games this was an OSU victory.

He means moral victory I think.

OSU was more than just in this one....they very easily could have won if that 4th down spot was two inches in their favor.

The fact that they threw a real defense at Texas and it worked tells me Oklahoma is in for something they did not expect when they take on the Florida defense.

And....UF can throw the ball as well as run it....proficiently so while OSU struggled to 21 points I don't see that as being as much of an issue for UF as it was for the Buckeyes.

I don't think Texas gets more AP votes than either Florida or Utah for this one. Maybe they could catch Okla if the Sooners win...maybe.

Moral victory? I doubt if Stu, BuckeyeT, Don, or G-Man think of it as a moral victory.

There's a difference between a loss and a humiliating loss. In the end the officiating crew knew exactly where to spot the ball but didn't know the difference between a shoulder and a helmet.
