I see where BP is stepping up and saying billions can be repaid to claims on the Gulf oil spill.....no sweat.

Most any other company in other industries would consider this type of financial calamity immediate cause for shuttering the doors to the plant.

Not these guys......they're loaded.

This is going to make the Valdez look like a toddler spill in the kitchen.

 

At least they spend money that they have. As opposed to the current administration that is spending TRILLIONS that they don't have and more than likely never will.

Nice they step up like that....it really is.

But somehow it leaves a lingering doubt that they will throw every resource possible at stopping this building catastrophe without first asessing what the cost of the next maneuver is.

This a huge disaster in the making and it requires umitigated response without questions asked.

It just makes me wonder if that is the response we are getting from BP.
