Brewer fans are nervous about this series given the history between the two teams. But, Milwaukee has much better beer.

****....Hader had been untouchable the past month until tonight.

 

Brewers win the first game of the series. Cards have a long history of putting fundamentally sound players on the field so their fans have to be going crazy watching Matinez in RF.

 

I fell asleep when they put the tarps out. At least the crubs lost. Well we needed to go 6-0 To have a chance. Hopefully we can stay there for the 1 game playoff.

 

Ok Bobda...I concede....but I do imagine you'll be sporting Cardinal Red in your heart and mind this Fri thru Sun?

 

Even if the series did not impact the Brewers' fortunes, I would cheer for the Cards. After putting up with the Cub fans who swarm Miller Park when the Cubs play here, Anne and I now root against all Chicago teams.

 

Brew crew sewed up a playoff spot. Where did the Brewers manager play his college baseball?

 

His coach at ND was Pat Murphy who is now a bench coach for the Brewers.
