TB, the most watched and imo the most meaningful measure of inflation at the household level is the PCE index - the Personal Consumption Expenditure index. The data for 4th quarter of 2007 was released minutes ago and showed prices at the consumer level rising at an annual rate of 2.7%.....I don't know what flour is doing, but taking all things that consumers spend money on into consideration, their inflation burden is less than 3%..... not nirvana, but manageable for sure. Inflation is not one of our priority problems at this point, imho.
