I'm sure most of you have heard but the Maurice Clarett saga has been written for the next 3 1/2 years.

How different would his life had been if he'd played by the rules, stayed in school and left after his third year?

Nice to see he signed a contract as a free agent instead of letting the draft control his destiny. He was just "keeping it real" in his own way. 8)

Note to tOSU fans: I do not see this as reflecting on the Buckeyes. Maurice distanced himself from Ohio State after the NC season, and they wisely did the same, although they did try to help at first.

If he had stayed in school, Ohio State would have been put on probation by now and he would have landed in prison anyway. Its better this way. The Buckeyes didn't need him; he needed them. He hurt nobody but himself...
