In Florida For The Arkansas Game

    We are in Florida for the Arkansas game, my second of the year and my wife's first. We are at our daughters house in Kissimmee and will leave in about three hours or so for Gainesville.

    The Gators hav lost to a West SEC team 10 years in a row, that includes the two National Championships in 2006 and 2008 when we lost to Auburn and Ole Miss.

    This week we play Arkansas at home then travel to Starksville to play Miss State next weekend.

    I'm going also Bill.

    Leaving the house within the hour with two of my three sons.

    I see Demps having a huge day today along with Moody.

    I think UF rushes for 300 yards in this game.....keeping the ball out of Mallet's hands and when he does get it the D will know pass is coming and some sacks are bound to occur.

    The under is looking pretty good right now Dave. The spread is a negative 7 starting the 3rd quarter. You're going to have to score 39 points more than Arkansas in the second half.

    Cheer them Gators on. I have 8 points on them in the contest!

    Somewhere tonight there is the Arkansas version of MCG whining that the refs cost them the game. I only watched during the ND game commercials. I saw a very poor pass interference call on Arkansas toward the end. It's hard to say what might or might not have happened if the call hadn't been made, but I'm sure MCG-Arkansas thinks he was robbed.

    Hey I just got back to our daughters house and I have to tell you it was a gut wrenching game that I was ecstatic with the win.

    I'm sure there are Arkansas fans somewhere whining about the refs, but I would rather them be whining than me. :)

    No truer words were spoken Bill, I can't think of a game (Texas or ND) where my teams got the best of the calls that I didn't feel that way.

    I think back to that 5th down that Colorado got against Missouri that allowed them to win and go on to the Nat'l Championship. However undeserved it might have been it was a win and critical to them winning the Nat'l Title.

    I always appreciate your even handed approach Terry.

    Tough loss for the Irish today. I was at the Gator game so didn't see any of it. But when I hear it was 27 - 14 going into the 4th quarter I figured USC wasgoing to win handily. Then I was told it was 34 - 27 and Notre Dame drove deep late.

    It does seem to me that the Irish are on the right track.

    Now with all these fixed game coming upTennessee should probably just not show up next week with Bama as I'm sure the SEC will want to keep them undefeated.
