    Grey Blackwell has some very funny cartoons on Chuck Amato & John Bunting.

    I’m sorry those 2 were fired. I hope they hire 2 more losers. This guy cracks me up.

    Very funny cartoons. :lol: I never cared much for Amato but I always liked Bunting (ex Eagle). He seems like a class guy.

    Was Bunting an offensive or defensive guy?

    Defensive guy. He was a linebacker for the Eagles.

    I was not

    <t>a fan of Bunting.<br/>
    <br/>
    The word from those who follow that program is that he did a fair share of backstabbing of the HC selection after Brown left. He kept it up until he got the job and didn't do much with it.<br/>
    <br/>
    From every account I've heard, he's a nominee for the Bob Davie career achievement award. It could be bull, but I doubt it. Too many different sources from different circles saying the same things and this before he ever lost a game.</t>

    PJ,

    I remember Bunting from his playing days with the Eagles.
    He was highly regarded and I'll always remember a quote about him that he was the epitomy of what a linebacker was supposed to be.
    The Eagles had a pretty good set of linebackers back then. I remember Bill Bergey and the Super Bowl.

    Bunting also coached at Rowan and led them to a title when they were called Glassboro state.

    I thought he would be a good hire for NC. He's a great position coach and a class act. I don't know what went wrong @ NC. Something obviously was missing.

    Ever hear anything about Joe Pisarcik down in Ewing? He lives down that way. Remember the FUMBLE ? OK so you call it the miracle at the Meadowlands. :lol: All he had to do was take a knee but the Giants OC had a brainfart and called for a running play to Czonka who fumbled while Herm Edwards took it to the house.
