    He's lying. I'd like to see the church bring back the Inquisition for guys like this. A little time on the rack would loosen his tongue...

    I think that was supposed to be why don't Congressmen use bookmarkers...

    I can't believe that the Bishop actually said he didn't know having sex with children was a crime.

    Along with this there is another horror story out of Ireland about mistreatment of children in Irish orphanages/unwed mothers homes back in the 1920's through WWII. It's just awful to read. I remember reading one time as a kid that mass attendance in Ireland was 98% or something like that, and that seminaries were full. Given the way the Catholic Church operated in Ireland I'm surprised that there are any Catholics left in Ireland. I think the kindly old priest that we used to see in old movies was a myth.
