    He lives nearby me in Spring Lake, NJ. He is a legend out this way. On a Christmas eve about ten years ago I took the family out to dinner in Bay Head and he came in with his wife. Really nice guy... talked to my sons for a minute about their LL teams.

    When he was a Yankee announcer he would leave in the middle of a broadcast if he saw one flash of lightning.... and go home!
