Got about 4 or 5 in. last nite. Flying to Zona this afternoon. Should be teeing off by 10 AM manana. We've been sending our big storms south and west of here and then bringing them up the east coast. Pattern will probably change in a few weeks and we'll be the ones getting bombed then.

We got whacked pretty good for these parts.....got about 2-3 inches or so and then it started icing up. Schools have been closed since Monday....they close schools around here if there is even snow or freezing rain in the forecast....for an old Yankee like me, no problem....I managed to find my way to the nearest open pub for the game - there were not many to choose from, it was like a ghost town....snow pretty much gone now. Tee time this weekend, supposed to get up to low 60's or so....

Actually I was in Roatan, Honduras the day you posted that...was about 78 degrees.

But I'm back now, to the real world.

Flew in and out of Houston...weather there nothing to brag about, Terry!

According to the definition of snow bound. My driveway is our problem, I can only use the Ford F-350 with 4 qw4677wheel drive. Once I'm off my driveway I can get pretty much anywhere.

But the college canceled classes from starting day Friday Jan 7 until 10 am Thursday Jan 13. So we lost four days plus a couple of hours for the late start day.

Terry...took a cruise out of Galviston...was in Houston on the 9th and 16th.

Stopped at Roatan, Belieze, and Cozumel.

Had a good time and was very relaxing...but I recommend winter cruises out of San Juan if you want to start out with warm weather.

About the golf. I hadn't hit a ball in 2 mos. I have no cartiledge left in my right knee. I'm old enough for Social Security. I still don't wear glasses except for reading. My golf bag is very heavy because of all the excuses I carry around.

I'll tell you what, when I take 2 mos off I'm lucky to break 100 and that's at my home course which is relatively easy. The grounds keeper hates to see me come out in the spring because he knows there will be more divots to fill and the squirrels really hate it because they know they have to really be on their toes!! :) Seriously I hit a squirrel once trying to recover from some trees, hit it thin and hit a squirrel sun bathing or something. I've also hit a duck, no kiddin!
