Is no one going to talk about Indiana beating Missouri at Missouri? I watched that game in shock because it really wasn't an 'upset looking game' in which a team with some sort of deficiency catches some breaks/emotion to steal a win. Indiana looked every bit as good as Missou.
As one who tries to follow Lou Holtz's playbook, when good things happen - like IU's upset of Mizzou - I try to act like I've been there. In truth, my wife (an IU grad) and I watched, also in shock. I hope it was a defining win for the program. Following the loss to Bowling Green, there were many here in central Indiana calling for Wilson's job. I was not one of them. Now we'll see how the season unfolds and if IU can reach a bowl game. That would be a giant step forward.
I did not have the tv coverage on that game but was catching the updates. After watching Indiana play last week I was pleasantly surprised that they are for real.....Go Hoosiers...
IU showed last year and in the first two games this season that they can move the ball and score points, but the defense has been non-existent. That wasn't the case yesterday. I don't know what happened in the past week, but I hope it continues.
ND <t>I didn't see this coming either. Then again, I didn't think they would lose to BG last week.</t>
Tim, I figured that their record after 3 games would be 2-1, which is what it is, but I wouldn't have guessed the way they got there.
