We are leaving Kansas City for Rocky Mountain National Park tomorrow. It's about 660 miles and we've decided to drive it in one day. Wish us luck. A couple of trivia questions to ponder before I check in again. The questions. Div 1a of course. First, what team holds the current longest winning streak? How many games? What team holds the current longest losing streak? How many games. I'll be checking in late tomorrow or maybe the day after. Wish us luck.
I assume that you mean total consecutive wins. Not current consecutive home wins, or wins against a single team, etc. etc.
I think that Notre Dame held the record for consecutive wins against a single team until recently when they lost to one of the service academies. Then the record became Tennessee's for wins against Kentucky. That streak is now at 25 games. The last game they won against us was 1984.
We are in Estes Park Co after a very long day driving. We are going to be here five days to visit Rocky Mtn National Park. I mean current winning and losing streak for all the teams they have played against. The Gators for instance have a 10 game winning streak but are not the best.
Utah is right, how many games? Who's the big loser? Geez it's 6 am out here but my body says different! Air's thinner at 7800 feet also.
You got that right Bill.....so is the water content! Hydrate early and often or you'll regret it! Enjoy.....magnificent part of the country.
Washington is right also, now how many games for each team? We just came back from 12,000 feet to take a nap then catch sunset this evening. It is magnificent BuckeyeT and we are making sure we hydrate early and often. Nap time, see if you can figure out the length of the win and loss streaks.
Just out of curiosity where is everybody staying in Kansas City for the reunion? I haven't made any reservations yet.
I was planning to ask for guidance, but I wasn't sure who to ask. Terry, looks like you are the de facto housing director. I guess we could all use google and come up with some ideas. I would think we would want a place as close as reasonably possible to the ballpark.
I'll wait another day to see if anyone comes up with the number of games in Utah and Washington's streaks.
I want to say that Washington has lost 14 games in a row. It could be more, but I think that's right. They won 4 games the year before and two of them were against Cal and Boise State. (seriously what the hell?). Im going with 14, final answer I have no idea about Utah. They went 13-0 this year. They did lose to BYU the year before that so I am going with 14 for them as well because they won their bowl game. Hell, 14 all the way around.
Corey got it, both 14 games. If anyone didn't understand why Ty is gone here's proof. Those were from Steele's magazine tid bits.
