Are any of you going to San Antonio for the WSU game? Kesley is talking about going, and since I love the Riverwalk on game day I'd probably show up too. Just wondering who might be thinking of coming to our fair state??
ND <r>I hadn't really thought that much about it but it would definatley be worth the drive from El Paso. <E>8)</E></r>
Beer? I want one of those footlong margaritas! I assume this will be a night game? If so that gives us all day to "prepare" on the riverwalk!
Cindy and I might be convinced to go to a game where we have no dog in the fight! Right now, we are being pelted by rain and hail (glad that we cleared all three bays of our 3 car garage and all vehicles were safe) from a storm that made its way through Abilene down to Austin today. Tornados were reported less than 10 miles from our house and less than 3 miles from Cindy's hospital. It appears that the worst is past us and just rain that is much needed behind the front.
Hey that would be great....about that weather though, I hope it's headed directly east from Austin I don't need it down here in Houston!
If you drew a straight line from Abilene through Austin, that is the way it was headed at 40 mph. We went to bed as soon as the light show was over. The tornado warning expired at 9 p.m. and the storm was through our area around 10 p.m. Everything in tact here but tornadic activity in the Cedar Park area did some damage.
After reading your post last night I watched the local weather and they had it moviing South/Southwest and missing Houston.....Whoooooo Hooooo!!
I originally thought that another shot at the quarry and Cantera would be great. But I have a wedding in NH on 10/9 and Commish's in NYC on 10/17. Oct. is kinda shot.
Terry, What's the TV situation at Nelly's? If I'm thinking of the right place, I don't remember it having that many... We might have to scope out the best possible place to watch mulitple games at once while getting lubricated for the evening contest. 8)
No TV's at Nelly's and I really can't think of a sports type bar on the river. Dicks doesn't have them. The hotel bars do, but they are pretty small. I'm sure we can find a suitable place though. Good thing is we can walk (or stumble) to the Alamo Dome from the River Bars. :?
ND <r>Terry,<br/> <br/> Great. Let me know. I'm going to need 2 tickets as Brian will be coming also. Just let me know on the tickets. <br/> <br/> Gotta make some hotel reservations now..... <E></E></r>
Doc, I think I'd need 2 or 3 though. A lot will depend on whether or not Carson plays football this year.
