    Benton Harbor is an easy 1/2 hr. away. There are a number of motels with rooms available. It's just far enough away to be reasonable.

    If you know the drive, LaPorte isn't too far. The Holiday Inn Express there has always had rooms open about a week before the games when I've been pressed for time. The drive is maybe 20 min. If you are like me (I spend the day in and around campus leaving early), staying a bit out of town isn't a problem at all.

    Gipper put me on to Benton Harbor and we've stayed there the last 3 years. They don't jack up the rates and the drive is not a problem.

    Driving, Sid. Coming with my state trooper son( speed should not be a problem :wink: ) and my daughter in law.

    We are leaving early Friday morning. Hope to get their later Friday afternoon or early evening. Staying Sataurday night and then back to NJ on Sunday.

    Thank God for Sirius satellite radio and my Garmin!
