I absolutely hate doing this, but I have started a GoFundMe to get Carson through his freshman year in college. Long story short, his ortho won't take his braces off until August, which means Carson can't go to boot camp on time like we planned. This is actually a little power move by his grandmother who doesn't want him to join the Marine Corps. Her plan was to have Carson receive this 10k scholarship from the school for being endorsed by an alumni. Well, we found out today that Carson can't get that scholarship because he's already receiving the maximum amount of help from the College and they don't 'stack' scholarships. This totally blew up in her face and he's the one paying for it.

Anyway, if you can donate, wonderful. If you can help spread the word, wonderful. Really, just any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

You would be helping make his dream of being a college wrestler come true.

Thank you in advance, just click the link or pass the link along on facebook or wherever/email/groups you belong to online... any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah... I know a little about this subject.
My oldest step daughter has one semester left to graduation. YES!
I've managed to pay it as we go, but it hasn't been pleasant.
(So far... her father hasn't paid a dime.
    He say's he'll pay for daughter #2. We'll see.)

Corey... I think the interest rates from FAFSA are about 7% for parents... not great, but not the worst I've seen.
Just some info in case you need that buffer.

Good Luck Carson, I hope you reach your goal!

Thank you Scott. Did you get the thank you message?

I feel your pain on the deadbeat dad. Carson's freshman year situation was 100% created by my former inlaws and their network of people here in town. The faster we can make a clean, peaceful break from them, the better.
