    Jeter was just hit by a pitch on his already sprained right hand in a blowout loss No word yet on his future.

    Try playing game without Jeter, Matsui, Damon, Sheffield, Rivera, Giambi, a one legged Posada and a sick A-rod DHi. ng.

    The Yankee lineup as I write this is Kelly Stinnett catching, Posada at 1st, Cano at 2b, Cairo at SS, Andy Phillips at 1b, Melky Cabrera in LF, Terrance Long in CF and Kevin Thompson in RF. Your 2006 NY Yankees! :D

    Not much. They are already looking at guys from the AA Trenton Thunder.

    Jeter is just bruised. Torre said he wil almost certainly play tomorrow. Damon will play. A-Rod will be back at 3rd base. Giambi is sitting up today and it is hopeful he can DH tomorrow. Posada back behind the dish. It's all hands on deck for this series.

    The Moose v. Josh Beckett. It doesn't get any better, does it?

    :?:
    So why don't the Yanks and Sox work a deal with my Dodgers? :}
    We have lots of trade-bait, including a left-handed starter, whose salary we will gladly help to pay, just to unload him! :}
