    At least the half time entertainment will be entertaining.

    The game won't be close. I wish The Rose Bowl would've made an attempt to get UGA. I guess the Sugar would've declined but it would have been a fun game for college football fans to watch. This one will get out of hand.

    that

    <r>is the Ha'a done before the game. Due to a rather racist stance by the WAC and NCAA, they've sometimes done it after the game. BYU does this as well, at least the last time I saw them they did. Teams that are made up of the island folks in large number do this. I think there is at least one more but I can't remember who. Normally Hawaii picks up a penalty to start each game doing it. Yet its ceremonial Hawaiian war/pre-battle chant stuff. They can't not do it. The people on the island would never let them.<br/>
    <br/>
    I don't know how many folks from the islands will make it to the game but they will go nuts as soon as the players group up for the Ha'a.<br/>
    <br/>
    The Haka isn't something I'd disrespect unless you boys from Georgia are bringing the whole trailer park and half the Atlanta ghetto to throw down with ya <E>:)</E> This will be quite the cultural learning experience for you lads. I hope you live to tell about it <E>:)</E><br/>

    here is an article about it

    <r>June Jones won't say the word, but I will.. its racism at worst, ethnocentric and inexcusable at the very least.<br/>

    That's the Holiday spirit lads. Let's have an effing race riot to start the new year off right. The Hay-wye-ans are not Maori. In fact, they're not even within 5,000 miles of New Zealand where the Maoris live. Their islands are closer to Georgia.

    BTW- What about restarting some ancient Irish traditions, like p!ssing in their parking lots and shaking down the rubes after the game in a drunken gold hunt?

    I think June Jones is full of sh!t...

    LOL>....I didn't know we ever stopped doing that!! :)

    I'd have a lot more sympathy for Hawaii doing that if they had been doing it for years, but as JO'Co pointed out they are a long way from where it originated and culturally probably none of them had ever done it before last year. BTW Texas HS State Champion Euless Trinity does it before their games, mainly because they have a large community of Samoans.

    Hawaii might be better served saving all that energy for the football field. I don't think they've see anything like Georgia this year.

    I don't know if it's my dish reception here in the mountains or not but frequently things like Terry posted don't show up on my screen. Just shows the way he input the information.

    The only guaranteed game to get out of hand that I see is Ill-USC.

    Sure Georgia should win and may win big but they could lose also.

    This is the same Ga squad that was beaten at home by SouCar and completely outclassed by Tenn....FYI....Florida beat those two teams by 110-51 but that's another story.

    Due to TB's continued chest thumping over the Dawgs and their rare defeat of Fla... Georgia may be the only SEC team I root against in the bowls.

    There's absolutely 0 % chance Hawaii will beat this UGA team. This team has grown up since the first of the year and Richt has began coaching like he should. With the way Richt is coaching now, there will be lots of chest thumping in store for the future. Next year the Dawgs run the table.

    Ah optimism reins supreme!

    Now Georgia is going to run the table next season and we aren't even done with this season.

    I'd probably be willing to make a little wager that Georgia does not run the table! :lol: :lol:

    Bill....I agree absolutely no way Ga runs the table based on what they did this year. Heck...they struggled with Troy the week after their high vs. Florida and as I said Tenn manhandled the pups.

    BT....thanks for the comment...you're a real nice guy... :lol: :lol:

    Bill

    <r>the links don't show up for me when I am not logged in.. I am using a Mac as well. As soon as I log in, I can see the links that he posts.<br/>
    <br/>
    As for the Haka. Well, I've endured about a good 30 years of 'let them dance' and... 'who are white administrators to tell the black kids they can celebrate the way they want to'....<br/>
    <br/>
    If they can do it, so can the island boys. BTW, the Hawaiian's have their own dance as do the other island civilizations. <br/>
    <br/>
    Personally, I think the Haka is a helluva lot better than storming the field, stomping the logo..planting flags and sticking your crotch in a guy's face after you make the tackle...<br/>
    <br/>
    But I'm glad to see I can assist in kicking the holiday season off on the right foot <E>:)</E></r>

    That's interesting Corey, I'm not sure if I was logged in or not when it didn't show Terry's utube link. I do think most of the other links show for me whether I'm logged in or not. I'll have to test that.

    Your mac a laptop or desktop?

    Corey, it does seem to have to do with being logged in or logged out. If I'm not logged in I can see links that take me to a site, but ones like Terry put up just come up like he inputted it, at least that's what it seems like to me.

    If I long in then I see the play button etc.

    Thanks and

    Merry Christmas
