Since I consider many of you here on the board my friends I wanted to let you know that I will be having heart bypass/graft surgery this coming Thursday 1/16/20. The Saturday before Christmas I began having chest pain and was sent to ER. Couple days later cardiac cath was done and they found some pretty bad blockage on at least 3 arteries so it’s bypass surgery. Stents won’t do it. If I told you I wasn’t scared I’d be telling you all a lie because I am. I would greatly appreciate any and all prayers and positive thoughts you can send my way. I hope to be back on this board for many years to come once this is over. Later. Tim
Wishing you all the best, Tim. Please ensure you have a loved one by your side to help share the emotional load and see you through. After recovery, everyone I've known that had this procedure came through better than they went in. Here's to your many years of continued passion.
Tim you're in my prayers! Good luck and I hope you're recovery goes well and you are back and ready for the Spring Game!
You're added to the list Tim. They're doing great things in today's times bypass wise. You'll do great.
You've got this Tim! We're always here for you. You just let us know what is needed. You're a bad ass and I know you'll see this through.
My sister in law had bypass surgery last month. She's doing well and looking forward to vacationing in Arizona next month. I'm sure you'll have a similar good result. Keeping you in my thoughts...Mike.
Best wishes, Tim. Have known several people who had the procedure and the health of all improved and all are leading normal, active lives. Having had a heart attack a few years ago, take post procedure cardiac rehab seriously and follow their dietary advice.
Tim, I concur with the guys who know people who have had the surgery. I know several people who have had it, from single all the way to quintuple. Every one of them is enjoying a better life than they had prior to the surgery. I'm happy for you. The surgery not only will save your life, it will give you a new and better life. You have my prayers.
Just saw this Tim.... I hope you did well and will be back on here soon. I had a quadruple bypass due to blockages way back in 1995 at age 40 and now I'm old enough to have just started medicare Jan. 1st. I've done a lot of living in the past 24 1/2 years and I hope to do a lot more. In fact I don't even look my age ( and don't act like it either... lol )
Sorry I didn't see this sooner. Hope to hear an update from Tim soon that all is well, and he's rolling on.
Just thought I’d let you guys know the surgery went well l. Still in hospital but doing okay. Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts
