    Thanks

<r>Thanks guys for the Birthday wishes, especially Stu. After all the crap I spout off about your Boilermakers, that's very generous on your part. Hope all of you have a great day also and that your respective teams win all their games this season unless it's against ND of course. <br/>

Setting aside the football for a second, it's is my birthday and I'm 58 today. This getting old stuff is just not all that great! I guess it's better than the alternative though. <E>:)</E></r>

I take comfort in knowing that you will always be one year older than me. I wish I had more advance notice of your BD.... this is the best cake I could come up with on short notice.

    Happy B'Day Tim.

No cakes or anything else... too tired to look.

Woke up yesterday at Noon to instruct two other instructors on the use of a software package to teach over the internet. Finished with both of them at 11 p.m. and stayed up for the class I was teaching to our engineers in Europe starting at 1 a.m. Finished the class at 8 a.m. and drove across town for a 3 hour meeting ending at Noon. I came home and took a 4 hour nap and I'm ready to go again! Toothpics holding eyelids open of course.

<t>Thanks Tom for the B'day wishes. Wanted to let you know I hope that dirt bag Kiffin hasn't done anything that will affect your Vols. I'm tired of the NCAA penalizing the schools instead of the coaches for the offenses they committed. I'm sure he will wear out his welcome at usc real fast.</t>

Thanks Tim but you know... Mike Hamilton (UT AD), and therefore the University, has to take some of the blame for not pulling in the reins after the first couple of secondary violations. I too would like to see Kiffin take the majority of the rath for the NCAA.
