Gators weiigh in at #5! :)

    5. 1996 Fiesta Bowl: Undefeated Nebraska wipes out undefeated Florida 62-24, rolling up 624 total yards, to win the national title.

Secretariats incredible win at the Belmont Stakes is the greatest BeatDown in history, followed by Tiger Woods 2000 US Open 15 stroke win and then the 73-0 game the Bears beat the Redskins in the 40's.

Of course this list is totally subjective and you could probably argue for another 100 that belong in the top 100.

What??? The SEC with only one entry in the top 10? Blasphemy!

I think that the 100th entry should have taken the #1 spot though.

Hey I've got no problem with that #5 ranking today and I wouldn't have in 1996.

It was a beatdown of mammoth proportions and shocked us Gator fans quite seriously.

    Nebraska was awesome....no excuses....

p.s. nice to see Florida-OSU weigh in at #38 8)

AND...I see UF's thrashing of FSU in the '97 Sugar Bowl for the Gators first NC makes the list and rightfully so at #52.

That's TWO that went UF's way and one against.

I'll take that when so many college football teams are not even mentioned.

Hey, in my opinion coming back and winning it all the very next year took away the pain of that beating.
