Well, here I am in Scottsdale enjoying some great weather. Today was the day my wife wanted to do some sightseeing. At one point she makes the generous gesture and says "what would you like to see?" 20 minutes later we're pulling up to University of Phoenix Stadium. Very impressive stadium. It's silver with some traces of glass.
We went into the Cardinal Store. I was hoping to get some post cards with the stadium on it to send to my grandson. No such luck. They did give me a program from yesterday's thumping of the Lions by the Cardinals.
From the store I could see inside the stadium. It looks great. The seating sections come in two colors, red and gray.

One other thing I've been thinking about. As Doc can attest, the Bucks travel very well. Hell, they have thousands of fans who go to the game site and don't have tickets.
Right now, knowing that they are in the BCS game, I'm sure Bucks fans are booking every available room that they can find and grabbing every ticket available on the internet. It might not only look like a OSU home game in the empty stadium, it might sound like one when it's full.

    Gipper,

OSU fans were buying packages back in October. Everything sold out at this point. Average package is going for about $2,700.00.

OSU clothing was sold out one day after Michigan game. Reorders were place immediately and again sold out.

    What a retailers dream!

I hope tix are available for all those who wish to go...

I have a friend who is a travel agent and always puts packages together for the OSU bowl game...travel, hotel, & tix.

He took one look at the price of getting tix and now is just putting travel and hotel packages together and will market those to folks who already have or can get tickets.

Speaking of bowl game tickets, I got the ND menue. It's all over the map including Cotton Bowl tix. Any interest down your way in those?

Tennessee has been mentioned in the Cotton Bowl as well. Too early to tell though.

Texas' name was tossed around at the end of today's game. That would be an interesting game: UT vs UT

Hey Stu email me your friend the travel agent's name. My daughter call this AM. She won the faculty lottery and she and her husband are going out to the game.

Longhorn fans do not want to go to the Cotton Bowl. They want to go to either the Gator Bowl or the Alamo Bowl. They also don't want to go to the Holiday Bowl, but that'll likely be A&M or Nebraska anyway.

I'd bet we end up in the Alamo Bowl.
