    Did you notice how ripped Jim was? I think he took the year off and juiced. That boy is noticiably bigger than 2 years ago.

    I don't think the Reds acquired 40 yr. old Edmonds for his prolific bat. Jockety knew him in St. Louis, and I'm guessing he wants Edmonds for his positive influence on the younger players down the stretch. Plus, he is comfortable in a PH role and won't make waves about playing time.
