    Gonzalo is a good guy, an experienced businessman, and a solid conservative Republican. He's also well connected in the Florida Republican Party and if I lived there I would vote for him.

    Are you guys serious? Gonzo is really running for Gov of Fla? Didn't they just elect MCG's most hated politician? Do they have 1 yr terms for Gov?

    I googled Gonzo and I found nothing about him indicating anything other than he's back on the MDX board, but those articles are all 2009. Plus if I remember the only elective office he was after was councilman(?) in Coral Gables and he was handily defeated. So I'm not seeing evidence of this rise in Republican political circles that might lead to a campaign for Gov. Isn't the current Gov a Republican?
