A great nerve racking game. Canada took a 1-0 lead in the first period on a short handed penalty and then played tremendous lockdown defense that shut down a high powered USA team. With roughly 2 minutes left in regulation time, USA pulled its goalie and scored the equalizer on a great deflection off a wrist shot from the blue line by Knight. Then, in overtime… Heartbreaking loss for Canada. Ecstasy for USA
