No, AJ. I'm talking about the Ball State Cardinals womens basketball team, who upset Tennessee tonight, 71-55. Granted, this is not one of Tennessee's better years, but anytime an upstart program can beat a perennial national power, the upstart folks have reaon to celebrate.

On the flip side, the ND womens team, seeded #2 in their region, could not win on their own court vs. Minnesota. ND will be good next year. They don't lose anybody and they gain a HS all american, Skylar Diggins from South Bend. Unfortunately, this season ended on a sour note.

No offense Sid, but I'm glad to see the Irish ladies bow out.
I wasn't looking forward to my girls facing them on their home court!

Irish Ladies were a good team this year, not a great team. As Sid said help is on the way in the form of Skylar Diggins.

Still that upset of the Lady Vols and the score, were the stories of the day.

No offense taken, Scott. I thought of you when I heard the score. I recalled your concern about playing ND on its home court. Looks like Minnesota took care of that issue.

The Lady Aggies blasted Minnesota off the court by about 40 tonight.
Thanks to the Irish girls for making the trip easier by stepping aside.

Someone explain this pod thing to me.

I don't give 2 hoots about Auburn's womens team, but how does a #2 seed wind up playing AT (whatever seed they were 6 or 7) Rutgers home gym?

Rutgers just nuked them so I don't think it really matters, but that sure seems wrong

    Corey,

I asked the same thing (#2 A&M playing at #7 ND).
It appears the ladies tourney works the same as baseball because of attendance issues.
They allow the schools to bid, biggest dollars gets to host.
