I know we got a double digit win, but like the announcers said, this Ohio State team was never out of this game until time ran out on them.

I'm really impressed with Oden, if they had been able to rest him tonight he would have been more effective at the end, and he was plenty effective as it was.

We were able to put 4 big men on him and it did take a toll.

I expect him to be a star in the NBA.

Now I would take another game with Ohio State in January.

Gator Bill , MCG & Gatzer Fan,

Congratulations! Not easy to win two championships consecutively! Your perimeter shooting was the difference. We got the points in the paint, but treys count more.

Oden played his hear out, but our guards could not buy a trey until the end of the game.

I hope Oden comes back, but that is probably wishful thinking.

Now will Donovan stay or move on to Bluegrass County?

    Don

    Thanks Don.

I have no inside information but I think Donovan stays at Florida.

And Oden is special and like you said played his heart out tonight. If we had not hit the threes and had a high foul throw percentage the game could have been different.

Congratz to all Gators everywhere. The Final Four victories over UCLA and Ohio State left no doubt.

Congratulations to all the FL folks on this board. There can be no argument that they were the best of the best.

Sincere congratulations to the Gators and Gaterz on the board. No doubt who the best team was.

I told everybody that I was expecting us to lose...hoping I was wrong.

I was afraid that Oden couldn't handle that many big, quick men...I was wrong.

We have good perimeter shooters, but they have had the habit of going cold all at the same time this year and I was afraid that would happen...I was right...no doubt the quickness and size of your guys had something to do with that but we did get some open looks.

I was confident that our perimeter defense, which has been great all year, would be good...I was wrong. Your big quick men set excellent screens and got your guys open to hit a shot or penetrate pretty much at will, even though Oden did a pretty good job. Matta decided to not have him go out and switch on the screens to protect him from fouls, and that sort of worked, but caused some damage because our guards couldn't handle the perimeter by themselves as they had been able to all year against other smaller, slower guys.

Intangibles...I thought Fla. got some ticky-tac calls against them in the second half...but we got them in the first half and it hurt...got you to the line quicker and you had 10 FT's to our 2 in the first half.

The ability of Fla. to cause turnovers was key...most of Fla's first half points came off FT's or turnovers.

I thought the best team won. I thought our guys played hard and well...I though if we'd hit perimeter shots like we are capable of doing we could have made you sweat a bit more.

    Congratulations and good job.
