    In the recent Georgia vs Georgia Tech baseball series, the Dawg fans thought they'd have some fun with the Techies and posted a 'Nerds' sign above the GTech dugout with an arrow pointing down at the players. The Tech players though wound up posting their own sign and once again... one upping the Dawgfans.

    College baseball has some of the best "antics" of any sports, and that's a classic. Definite point for the GT players!

    I know the RAggie's at Olsen are always creative (much better than a nerd sign), and it's great fun.

    <t>Georgia Tech won that game 11-1. That was the game in Athens.<br/>

    Georgia won the game at Turner field 3-2, but as to the game with the sign... The Techsters put one on the Dawgs.</t>

    What do you guys think about the FSU kid playing all nine positions and hitting a grand slam in a game vs Savannah State? The guys on PTI crucified him and FSU saying it was bush and that if they were the Savannah State coach he'd have pulled the team off the field or had the pitchers gunning for him every time up at bat.

    For the record the Savannah State coach was ok with it.

    Much ado about nothing. I'm a big Tony K fan because I'm an old guy, but neither he nor Wilbon nor whoever else appears on that show are qualified to judge what is and is not bush in the sport of baseball. Obviously, they have opinions, which is what they are paid for, but they don't know the sport well enough to judge this situation. I'll accept the opposing coach's opinion and let it go at that.

    pull the team off the field??

    <t>PULL THE TEAM OFF THE FIELD?!?!?!?!<br/>
    <br/>
    Are you kidding me?!? What a bunch of panty wearing Nancy boys to even suggest that. If the game isn't over, you don't leave the field. If the parks on fire, you man the sprinklers. If you can't get a guy out, then you find a way. It isn't FSU's job to make them better. Of course, they could have dropped him on his butt if he wanted to get on base that badly and if they really felt that upset about it.<br/>

    Which of the PTI crew managed to plop that out from underneath his skirt? If I see him at a sporting venue any time soon, I will pelt him with hot dog wrappers and empties.</t>
