Gas prices at the pump are declining here for the fifth consecutive week. We are currently at $3.59 per gal. of regular. We peaked at about $3.91.

I have a staff of technicians on the road everyday so we keep meticulous records of local gas prices and mileage driven. I have records going back four years at my quick disposal and a lot more filed away. We use a local Exxon-Mobil station as our barometer.

The week Obama was inaugurated in January 2009 the price of gas was
$1.61 for that same gallon of regular. I can only conclude that he is a shill for the oil cartels and in bed with the energy companies. 8)

I Hope I have some Change

I think that was the whole idea of the post, Sid. However, that other person probably can't find a way to chime in on this and save face.

Here is the chart showing the decline of prices at this time of the year in 2008. Look what has happened since the beginning of 2009. This backs up what George posted. I too keep meticulous records. This particular chart ends in March because that was the last fill up for that vehicle before selling it.

Also notice the space between fill-ups after March of last year compared to before march. That is when I started traveling extensively and wasn't home to use gas as much as I was. :? :? :?

Aw shucks that takes away one of the lynchpins of Dave's position. Republican/Oil Cartel conspires to rip of the average joe ...where is he going to go if the current democratic president is presiding over the same.
