With all going on there I think it deserves a topic of it's own.

Am I biased? No doubt but what is going on there is absurd.

    Here's one article.

    Here's another article.

It's The SEC and ESPN's fault

Interesting, Herbie has predicted Louisville to upset FSU. Says the Petrino offense will be too much for the FSU defense. Also interesting is that Louisville is a about a 3.5 to 5 point underdog, while the Irish were almost 12 point underdogs. What am I missing here? Louisville is a 2 loss team, Virginia and Clemson.

I know Petrino is a good coach/scumbag and Charlie Strong supposedly left them in really good shape on defense....but they are getting a lot of respect on the odds.

Doesn't make sense. sounds more like wishful thinking than sound analysis.

Good article Bill. I enjoy OTC, but I can tell you where he came up just short and it is, in fact, ESPN's fault to an extent.

They (espn) don't live in a bubble. They see what we all see. In fact, they see more and are generally privy to more information. They know. God damn it, they know just like we all do that something ain't right in Tally.

So where is the bone jarring investigative reporting? It took them more than a decade to even begin to cover the problems at Miami in the same eye that SI and others had been doing it for years. FSU is beyond all that. I don't know, or think you can have the weird cash bounties and pell grant fraud, but in terms of thugs, this is far beyond the U. That's not to say the U had choir boys, but they got in trouble. At FSU, there appears to be a clear, albeit invisible line, drawn by the Tally PD around the FSU football team. I know the PD had claimed at one point they were looking to talk with Williams about the robbery. HOW CAN YOU NOT FIND HIM!?!? They're watching, or attending the game, they know where he is.. they just don't want to officially know where he is.

ESPN is obviously the standard bearer of media for college sports. They could and should do more. They should have been blasting away at FSU instead of praising their incredible athleticism.

Wow! Louisville is pounding FSU-21-0 with 2 min. left in the 2nd quarter. Three touchdowns in their last three possessions for Louisville and FSU has been unable to do anything on offense with Jameis coughing up two picks.

21-7 at half. Louisville has looked really good. They can't let Winston get going though and they need to score a couple of TD's themselves.

They finally called a hold on the Criminoles... to nullify the TD.
    On to the 4th.
Hoping the Fighting Petrinos can hang on!

Louisville seems to be hanging on by its fingernails now. They need to put some points on the board with this drive.

Did Jessie Palmer just call Winston the best Big Game QB he's ever seen?

Well maybe he is right now. The guy is an idiot off the field by he's a savant on the field.

Down 21-0 and win going away.

But hey they'd only be 9-3 in the SEC! :)

I'd say he's one of the luckiest big game QB's I've seen.
He threw 3 picks, should have been more, especially that one that went for the go ahead TD.

    :x

gotta give the devil his due, that was the #1 ranked defense coming into the game and they just torched them once they stopped coughing it up.

At this point, I don't even care about the playoffs. I just want a rematch with Florida State. I'm that sure they are that good, and I am that sure we are better.

Looked like Louisville might upset the Seminoles for awhile, but going 1 for 11 in third down conversions killed their chances.

Like them or not FSU can score quickly and never seem to panic. I would not bet against them to be in the playoffs!

you can never tell what might happen but FSU's schedule from here on in is certainly favorable.
