Notre Dame silent on teen's death http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-met-notre-dame-story-20101121,0,3185959.story
Very sad for the family who lost a daughter. If a player actually did what she said he did then I hope justice is done. I do wonder though about the stability and judgement of a young lady who is prone to depression and had already been moved from one school to another in an attempt to help her find her place. And while the Trib has stated what they think should have been done, they haven't made a case that what was done was illegal, unethical, or anything. Just that they don't think what was done was right.
This looks like something that the Trib is trying to cook up where no real story exists. These are the same people who apologize for Rahm Emmanuel, Obama and Mayor Daley. Looks like crap; smells like crap... ......JO'Co BTW- the Chicago Tribune also owns the LA Times and I didn't see a word about this here...
Apparently campus police have turned over all of their investigative records to the local district attorney.
It seems like it is going to be a very difficult case since the young lady is deceased now. Most of these things typically are he said/she said, and since she is no longer with us, I wonder how they can proceed. As far as not releasing the players name I do wonder how long that will last, professional athletes would have been outed the moment their accuser went to the hospital and made an accusation. The female is typically not revealed but the male is usually named. But as I said before very sad for her family, just horrible to lose a child in any way but esp this way.
