We leave on Thursday to attend Carson's Friday the 13th game. Everything is off to the usual chaotic start: the washing machine went down; flooding the hallway, and changing our plans at the last minute. The repair man can't be here until Friday, so we'll have to go to a laundromat... Screw that, I'll just go buy some socks and underwear... Mrs. JO'Co has cooked up a scheme with our daughter to pick up and watch our car for ten days. This will allegedly save us parking money at Ontario Airport, but I have no faith that my car will be there when I return. What could possibly go wrong?
What's life without a little adventure! Have a safe trip, and hope things go well for you two from here on out!
Corey has collapsed. He's been in the hospital all day and they're running tests. I haven't even left yet, but there seems to be disasters both behind me and in front of me...
Corey, that does not sound like everything is fine... listen to your doctor and follow his/her instructions. This is nothing to take lightly. As Cindy would say if she were checking in here: "We're not done with you yet!"
Scott, I haven't had a chance to read that yet but I am going to tonight. I am still looking forward to it if it's what I think. All, Thanks. I passed out. Took a little nap. I'm going to Dr's all day today. I've literally had everything checked over twice. My heart rate and BP is that of a younger man. My liver is amazingly fine after all these years of abuse. (I stopped drinking years ago though). My heart is fit as a fiddle. They even scanned my brain and I've gotta go to a neurologist for that but it's nothing pressing. The only thing I seem to have is a UTI and I can't get the urologist to give 2 shits about that even though the Dr wants me to go... I'll be fine. As Jack Nicholson said in The Departed (a classic if you've never seen it), "We're all dying, act accordingly."
so my hypochondriac Dr has a new theory. She thinks I am having seizures or that I have narcolepsy. I am now living on planet ******** and I can't drive anywhere. This sucks
Corey that does suck, whatever you can do have your Dr. change this theory or you will never drive..Had a family member have an allergic reaction to medicine and went into convulsions. Even though it was realized it was the one time effect from the prescription he lost his license for six months and had to fight for that....Glad you are doing better..But da heck with your doctors theory...
Glad you are feeling better, Corey. I agree with Ralph's recomendation--look for another doctor. Sounds as if your present doctor is grasping at straws to reach a diagnosis.
