    Awesome, AWESOME 24 hr (w/Infrared) WebCam of a Bald Eagle's nest that just had 2 eggs hatch, and a third pending. This is in Decorah, IA.

    Ma Eagle is one magnificent looking creature.

    My backyard birdfeeder is being taken over by squirrels. Wonder if I can log onto the chat room and see if Mom would be interested in doing a fly over to Milwaukee so that she and her kids could feast on some fat squirrels? My neigbor has a small, yippy Yorkie that she might
    also find interesting.

    I heard that those Eagles used to live in Neb, but they moved to Iowa where the corn was higher! :)

    The Tree's are higher in Iowa...no way their stalks are bigger than ours though...

    There has been some recent excitment.

    Mom and Dad had to ward off a 2 AM attempt by a owl looking for a late night snack.

    I briefly watched Sunday night during a rain and windstrom. Mom was hunched in her nest, located 80 feet above the ground, bracing herself from being blown off the nest while shieding her chicks from a storm that looked almost monsoon like on the live feed. To me, it was a moving display of self-sacrifice, bravery and commitment to risk all for the survival of her offspring
