"We are excited to make a return trip to Dallas for the Cowboys Classic against Florida which is a team that we have a chance to smash to a pulp.... especially if they retain Muschump until then," Michigan coach Brady Hoke said in a school release. "This is a great way to reach our fan base in the south and to continue to expand our recruiting efforts in the state of Texas. Our goal is to have as many Michigan fans at the game as possible to revel in what should be a huge Wolverine victory." ...tell it like is Hoke..... tell it like it is....
Based on what we know Bama was paid for playing Michigan in Dallas in 2012 - and assuming Michigan was paid the same amount - we can understand the attraction for both teams to venture out of state for a non-conference game against a power conference team.
Jerry's just throwing that money around and the schools would be fools not to take it. Jerry establishes his amusement park stadium as the 'most stop' center of early college football. We get a quality game. Win win for everyone.
