Sat night in the Swamp. Number 3 LSU vs number 12 Florida. Florida opens as a small favorite, somewhere between 3 and 6 points. I am planning on going to my first game this year and the Swamp will be rocking.
There's just something about LSU that has bothered me all year. They just don't look very good. Their level of competition to date has been a joke.. That will all change saturday. I think Florida kills them, but as long as my RB drops 200yards and 3 tds on you... I'm good either way
Very big game for the Gators, you guys can ill afford another loss if you are to contend for the NC. BTW do losses to SEC West teams count in the SEC East race? If so then you can't really afford another loss at all.
Can't afford another SEC loss to be sure... My first and only game this season.......can't wait! Prediction...( good thing I didn't predict the Ole Miss game  ) Florida 27 LSU 21
Terry, any SEC game counts in our standings. However the first two tiebreakers in case of a tie in the East or West is head to head and the second tiebreaker is Division record. We do have season tickets but because of my wife's knee replacement this will be the first game I make this year. My nephew is going with me. I have tentative plans to make Georgia and S. Carolina. That's not many games when I have to pay for all of them, extra for Georgia and booster fees. However the games I don't make other family members do so all is not lost.
Bill have you thought of putting your unused tickets up on ebay or stubhub? I'll bet you could recoup a lot of your money by selling them rather than giving them away. Terry
Terry, last year I sold my Georgia tickets to another group that bought them outright. But this year that's one game I want to see. Also my two kids that we have the tickets, we have six, both of them now have two kids and we trade the tickets back and forth so the grand kids go to as many as they can. There are a couple of other family members on one of the son-in-law's side that go also. I'm not sure what we will do in the future but selling some of them might be an option again. Thanks.
I have had season tickets for 18 seasons. My brother-n-law has always used or sold the many I cannot attend....which is the great majority. This year he has used Stub Hub with tremendous success....$595.00 for two endzone Miami tickets.....( I think the name of the purchaser was Gonzalo... )
What time does this one kick? I'm hoping to get home in time to catch most of it. I'm usually neutral towards the Gators, but this weekend I'll be pulling for you big time. There is no school I despise more than the drunkards from Loser State!! GO GATORS!!!!
Don, I'm with you and hope we don't let you down. Scott, it's an 8 pm game. I got my season tickets starting in 1990, Spurrier's first year as coach. This would be the 19th year I have had them, with the first year being in a different spot while they built the north endzone.
I miscounted Bill....I bought mine for the 1990 season as well. North Endzone also.....section 22...row 21
Dave my tickets are in Florida at my daughters house, as I recall they are section 27, northwest corner, and I forget which row. I'll call and ask.
I heard and read about that Terry. He just needs to do his job and not try to knock someone out of the game. That can backfire.
I figured it reached the Gator boards pretty quick, and Tebow as well. I'm sure his OL takes it personal.
Terry, I missed your question, sorry. I didn't see Motta as one of the players the Gators were hot after. He was on the list the Gators were tracking on Scout, but I haven't read much about him on GatorCountry. Looks like a good prospect, congratulations to Notre Dame.
