Should be one of the better games on tap during the bowl season, two great teams who by a slim margin missed the big dance.....Looking forward to it..
I am happy that we will have another opportunity to play the Irish. This will be Coach Meyer's first encounter playing Notre Dame. Pretty good matchup between two excellent football programs. GO BUCKS!
I was hoping for Iowa as we haven't played those guys in a long time and we have OSU on a future schedule. But bring'em on ...Go Irish!
Omigosh! The best team in the Big10! Whatever are we going to do! We're toast. I wish we could have played an easier Big10 team like, say, Michigan State or Iowa.
Hang in there Sid, you have some making up to do, to try and even the record a bit. We have won the last three games!
Don watch out for the kid top row middle!! BTW: BattleFrog?? Still no really sure how a company who runs obstacle course events set up by Navy Seals...can be the title sponor of a major bowl game.
Way out west... Everything worked out perfect for me! I get a Pier 9 Brawl with the two best teams in the Fiesta; I get a REAL Rose Bowl with Stanford vs. Iowa; and I even get a good under-card bout in the Holiday Bowl with USC and Wisconsin. The Badgers all-time record against the Trojans is 0-6, but they haven't played each other since 1966. Everything is coming up roses and I hope Alabama bombs the rest...
Corey, I thought the M/OSU game was going to be a "war". What I did not forsee was the troops wearing red doing a reinactment of the War of 1812 and burning down the Big House.
Bobda, Having lived in Detroit back in 2007 and seeing the Michigan media and fans fairly excited to play Florida in the Citrus I have to believe this time around is no exception. Given the way we both limped into the end of the season I think it's a good match-up.
The Buckeyes had their chance vs. MSU and laid an egg, thanks to MSU's defense. Unfortunately, this year the 3rd best Big10 team is much, much better than ND and is out to prove something. We are roadkill.
Don do you know if Chris Ash will be involved with the Ohio State staff in bowl prep or has he left already to begin building his staff and recruiting for RU? Like Durkin I have no doubt the best thing for his future at RU is to get going as fast as possible, but I have seen guys try to do 2 both jobs.
Terry, Yes he will coach through the Fiesta Bowl and then go to Rutgers. However I am confident he will do like Tom Herman did at Houston, really work with both programs during that period of time.
