Playoff time boys....looks like Corey and I in the east and a mess in need of a tiebreaker in the west between the Bill, TOK and Scott. I don't see how Scott can be out by virtue of his two victories over Bill but I don't have a clue what the tiebreaker methodology is.....stay tuned. btw, what is the prize for the regular season champion?
I made 2 moves that hurt this week. I stubbornly refused to play LeSean McCoy because I couldn't root for him, and I figured out Don's problem so he could get logged on!!
I read the tiebreaker as total points and see the playoffs lining up like Buckeye T says. Ironically if you look under standings and breakdown I would have beat Scott 7 out of 10 times and lost three times. Just my luck to have played him 2 of those three times. But hey I can't complain about luck, I'm in the playoffs and have a 1 in 4 chance of winning.
Bill always finds a way to come from behind to win when we play. I remember having a big lead over him in the pick'em contest a few years ago only to lose to him in the last weekend. Bill's a stubborn competitor!!
Actually Bill you are lucky to have Mike Leach as Harrell's coach He's the one who leaves his starter in until the clock runs out no matter the score. 8)
As he needed to do Sat.  But you are right I am lucky that he's the coach of my QB.
Terry, Thanks for letting me win the last regular game, might be just the tonic for me to return next season? Don
unless my math is bad. i edged Buckeye T 145-144.75 If they still deduct points for playing IAA teams, he would have had 29 points for DEF/ST but received a 7.25 deduction for Auburn playing UT-Martin. Is this right? I guess we'll find out soon enough... But first, let me join Scott in griping about the Aggies.. Holy heck boys!! I thought you guys were turning the corner (like I thought my Irish were).. Sam Bradford dropped like 43 points of me today...and wtf with Missouri's coach NOT leaving in Chase Daniel to throw for 400 yards in the slop time?? Now this guy gets a heart!?!?! sheesh ps Richt, please throw the ball to AJ Green. You're killing me, Smalls!!
Corey, I believe the deduction for 1aa stays in place. I checked the scores today also and know that I did beat Terry O, but I need to recheck yours and Buckeye T. I had some different numbers. But I am not all that coherent when I first get up.
Corey, how did you come up with Auburn's numbers on defense? I have them with 6 points for points allowed, 6 points for a TD, 4 points for interceptions and 2 points for yardage for a total of 18. If that is reduced it is by 4.5 points leaving them with 13.5. However I have Buckeye T with more points than you and you with 142. My numbers show Buckeye T 143.5 and Barnstormin 142. But I usually manage to be a couple of points off. I am sure though that I won so I will play one of you. Sorry Terry O, but it was great getting revenge!
Barnstormin only had 138 points. My mistake was the negative 22 yards that Daniel's had as a positive 22 yards, also my addition for him was wrong. Any way it's Buckeye T and the North Carolina Gators next week for all the marbles. Both of us have some critical players on a bye week so it changes the dynamic!
Corey, If anyone thought we had turned a corner, they haven't been listening to me. We beat two bad teams... that didn't mean we'd solved our lack of O line, or serviceable front 7. (That will probably take several years unfortunately) And of course you didn't take "Big game Bob" into account. FYI Bradford was still in the game after OU crossed the 52 point mark. What a surprise...
Bill, Congrats to you guys!! I think these are the 2 best teams over the season anyway. My team is really hit or miss. I got the point totals counting DEF and special teams (because it's both), and I've noticed...or perhaps I am crazy, that you get points for PAT/FGs for the special teams.. Looking at it.. 3 things just killed me.. 1. As Scott pointed out 'Big Game Bob' kept Bradford (Terry's QB) in the game late I guess in an attempt to get him into the Heisman race... Meanwhile, Pinkel decides to develop depth and PT for his young guys for like...the first time ever... Hayzeus... 2. The complete turd of a game played by Notre Dame.. BC was a team Floyd should have 2 TDs and 100 yards against... Instead he had 69 receiving yards. 3. Matt Stafford's addiction to throwing the ball to everyone but AJ Greene. I only follow this situation because of fantasy football...but Stafford throws the ball to everyone else in the field of play until it matters the most....then, and only then, does he throw it to Greene who is CLEARLY the best player on that offense...and yes, I think he is better than Moreno.
ThankGod for Big Game Bob! Bill, a helluva time for our starting QB's to have a bye! I was ecstatic when I saw Tech was off until I noticed the same for Bradford! :? Looks like the game is likely to be decided by the back-up QB's!
yeah good luck to both of you guys!! and thanks again to Scott for putting this together.... this has been fun. one final note: If I ever meet Pinkel, I'm kicking him in the fruitstand and he won't even know why
