Irish get 2 out of 134!! We should have a very good team this year, toughest games will be Clemson at home and UNC at Chapel Hill. Mack Brown has done an amazing job at UNC. Clemson has the most talent and the best QB of all the ACC teams, plus a lot of experience winning the big game. No surprise that they are so heavily favored.

Also not a big surprise that Oklahoma is the heavy favorite in the B12. They have a proven winner at coach in Lincoln Riley. While they have a new starter at QB in Spencer Rattler, Riley is now considered the best developer of QB's in college football and Rattler was a 5 star QB in HS. The Longhorns are a pretty solid 2nd pick, but not a surprise that some feel they will slip during the season as Tom Herman hasn't exactly been what Texas fans hoped for, he's won a couple of big games but last year was a disaster and forced big time staff turnovers. While at Iowa State they have a coach in Matt Campbell who many think will be at a top Power 5 job when the next one opens up, he has an excellent QB coming back. Oklhaoma State is a team that is usually dangerous esp on offense and have an AA RB in Chubba Hubbard and a returning QB who was looking great till injured last year.

This is an huge year for Tom Herman and the Longhorns, Sam Ehlinger is considered a Heisman Trophy Candidate, and we have a new OCoord so much is expected out of him and the offense. Will the defense that was awful for the most part last year turn around under Chris Ash who Urban Meyer commented on recently as one of the best if not the best DCoord in college football. There is talent on defense. I guess Herman could survive a 2 or 3 loss season. But fans are expecting no more that 1 loss.
