Tailback will love these Early Top 25 Especially the Top QB in the top positions rankings. Top 2008 Players By Position
Well Grahman Harrell is too high and Colt McCoy is too low, not to mention that McFadden isn't likely to even be back, along with Mendenhall, Charles and Ray Rice at RB. Also based on the way Georgia finished and the way UF finished I don't see how they put UF ahead of Georgia. If UGA was losing a lot of players I could see it, but they aren't, they have most of the team comming back. And Texas Tech ahead of Texas....that pretty much say's it all. Texas destroyed the Pac10 CoChampion in the bowl, and made some significant changes to revamp the defensive coaching staff. Brought in Auburns young agressive DCoord, and rumour has it that wildman Eddie O formerly of Ole Miss will be our DL coach. Tech had to rally furiously to beat a medicore ACC team and hasn't played defense since Spike Dykes left. Terry
You are giving Tailback way to much ammunition Terry!  Two Gators who are going to the NFL are listed also, Derrick Harvey at DE and Cornelius Ingram at TE. Also I don't understand Oklahoma being that high after the showing they had in a their bowl game. I do happen to agree with you that Georgia should start off ranked ahead of Florida.
You know what pre-season predictions are worth in the fall...they are worth a lot less now. tOSU is probably going to lose a bunch of juniors going early again...let's see where they rank us after that happens.
The loss of Harvey could definitely have a downward effect on UF's ranking. I would say maybe at #5 instead of #3. Ingram is good but Hernandez may be just as good.
