    So very sad and tragic.....another of the world's iconic talents destroyed by the evils of drugs and alcohol. Surely one of the great voices of any age, imho.

    Who doesn't remember her rendition of the national anthem at the Super Bowl? I made my kids watch it on You-tube as we were having another teaching moment about the consequences of bad decisions and drugs. I still get goose bumps when I see it......extraordinary.

    God Bless Whitney....RIP dear lady. Your demons are gone at long last.
