I heard this on the radio the other day: Everyone knows that Home Depot uses a color of orange on their stores that is very close to Tennessee orange. The stores use that color no matter where they are located except for one, and only one store. Where in the United States is that store and what color is used there?
Nope... I hope this wasn't a hoax. I have been trying to verify it on the internet but can't as of yet. According to the radio show, a community protest forced Home Depot to change their colors just that once.
Green. Probably greenpeace protesters. Large City....L.A., SanFran, Boston, NYC....my guess would be Frisco...
Tuscaloosa is a great guess considering who started this topic and Tennessee orange was mentioned, not to mention the Tennessee / Bama rivalry / feud. Actually the reasoning behind it does have meaning but Tennessee is not involved in this issue. Gainesville... Nope!
I guess we'll have to get Scott to verify this... The radio show reported that the College Station Home depot had to paint/dye it's awning maroon to be accepted into the community. That much Orange of any shade was not acceptable there.
Haven't been to that HD, so I'll have to take a look the next time I pass through. If so... I LOVE IT!!!
