LSU vs Miss State. Croom is saying his team is much improved and he's optomistic...he'd better be I don't think they've scored a point on LSU in this century!! But it is a road game for the Tigers, sometimes weird things happen on the road. ESPN 8pm eastern!!
While I wouldn't be surprised by the Bulldogs playing the Tigers tough early, I'd be stunned by an LSU loss.
What I am already stunned by is the fact that we only saw TWO LSU flags on cars today. Cindy and I are on the way to Tennessee. We left yesterday morning pulling a 32 foot 5th wheel. I am still recovering from the residual joint issues after the bee attack. Therefore, we only drive about 300 miles each day which takes us three days to get to Tennessee. I also only drive 60 mph for two reasons. #1, 60 mph gives me 13 mpg rather than 10.5 mpg at 70 mph. #2, I NEVER have to slow down because of someone driving slower than me. Last night, we stayed in Shreveport Louisiana and tonight we are in Meridian Mississippi. We were on the road between 9am and 5pm all the way across Northern Louisiana and Mississippi on gameday when LSU is traveling to Mississippi State. I would have thought that number would have been in the hundreds.
Well LSU is up 17-0 at half, but they've not looked sharp on offense, they have looked good on defense though. The MSU QB has helped though by tossing 4 picks, well 3 picks and 1 where the refs blindly overlooked blatant pass interference in the endzone...but who's counting!!
Tom, sorry you are having trouble with your joints, but drive careful and enjoy your trip. Let me ask you something, do you use one of those super chips in your truck, do you know anything about them?
Well the LSU defense just suffocated MSU and kept giving the LSU offense the ball...net result a big whipping of MSU.
 Mississippi State looked so bad that it was hard to tell how good LSU really is. The Tiger defense looked great, but their offense looked poor/rusty... MSU was so bad that an analysis just wasn't possible. We'll have to see more to determine how good the '07 Tigers really are...
Agreed. I would always take a 45-0 win but if LSU plays like that Va Tech will be a lot closer. I was surprised that LSU didn't really dominate at the line of scrimmage.
I think LSU looked pretty damned good considering it was at Starkeville. Their defense is as imposing and physical as I remember it to be from last year and maybe even better. That D is so powerful that no one will outpoint LSU this year. LSU will have to be beat with a stifling defense and special teams. I think UF has the special teams for sure but I don't think UF's defense will hold the Tigers to less than 24 points in Baton Rouge and no way UF's offense scores more than the Tigers. I see a 24-19 win coming for the Tigers over my Gators.
we <t>will know more about that LSU offense after their next game.<br/> <br/> The defense does look great.</t>
Washington looks OK, but Syracuse looks simply horrible. They can't be that bad. Getting blown out at home by Tyrone and a rookie QB? Holy cow! This puts the Cuse coach on the hot seat...
Hey Don, just little OT but where's the best place to get pizza around New Albany? I'm in town for the weekend and I'm in charge of dinner.
