that I don't love my mother...... and silence. So for Valentine's Day I will give her this.

I read up on much of what has gone on since I left. About 99% of it was wrong. My departure had much more to do with simply not having fun. I can't make a post about anything regarding Western football without having to provide dissertation-esque citation for what should be common football knowledge. By the time I have provided all the proper citation to justify my case, the topic has moved on and the overall point is lost. We continue to hang our hats on a handful of results years ago, while ignoring the reality of the greater number of years.

And seriously, who knew that there could be fewer degrees of separation from any subject in the world to the Florida Gator football team than there are to Kevin Bacon?

The board has just not been fun to play around on anymore. I am sure JOCO felt similar frustrations...sprinkle in a mix of being called a liar plus whatever concerns that were his own and you have two departures.. neither of which had anything to do with home life or something else being wrong. Everything there is just fine.

With that being said, I promised my mother so here it is.

    Thoughts on what I've missed:

-Patriots, epic choke job. Giants brought their lunch pail and jammed it up the Pat's back side.

-Urban Meyer being cleared. That is absolutely laughable. Either the kid lied initially (for no reason or incentive) or UM committed at least minor infractions. But the NCAA does what it does... so we will see how this plays out in the future.

-Big hire by Weis nabbing Tenuta.

-Great recruiting class by the Irish.

-I didn't know Saban could juggle too! I guess we'll find out how good he is at that real soon.

-Will someone hire Bob Davie, please?!

    -Washington and Ty= LOL

-Bill, glad to see you're on the way to wind sprints again ;)

Glad to hear from you Corey, things are going really well with my rehab at this point. The bending of the knee has slowed down but not stopped, I am able to walk with my soft removable cast as long as the knee is stiff and I am still using at least some support.

In the interest of whatever I'll pass on the two Gator comments.

    Corey,

I'm glad you're back. I hear you and indeed can sympathize with many of the issues you raised.....glad to see you still listen to your mother!

Shoot me an email if you feel the need to vent.....it's not half as much fun around here without you guys. Does your Dad listen to his wife?

I've got a mind to visit Casa JO'Co at the end of this month and drag that man of yours back on board. Since I'll be down at San Diego and won't have a certain marine to play golf with while I'm there, I just might drive across the mountains and seek out the prodigal son. If he would prefer a giant leprucaun show up at the door, so be it.
